Software Used:
Photoshop - I used photoshop to edit and create my album cover. I found this program quite easy to use due to previous use.
Premiere Pro - We used premiere pro to edit our music video and vox pops together. I struggled a bit using this program but through time I learned more about it.
YouTube - I used this to upload and embed the videos onto my blog.
Microsoft Powerpoint - Used for some of my planning and research, such as: Locations, Narrative, etc.
www.video.online-convert.com/convert-to-mp4 - To convert our AVI files to MP4, it was very quick and easy to use.
Blogger - used to upload of of my blog work.
Hardware Used:
Mac - This was used to edit all of our work for our digipak.
Canon Digital Camera - We used this to take our pictures for our album covers and magazine advert. High quality and easy to use.
Sony HD Digital Video Camera - This camera was used to film our music video and vox pops. High quality and easy to use.
Studio Lighting - Used throughout filming and photoshoots to create natural/even lighting. Very easy to use.
Green Screen - Used to shoot part of our music video and photoshoot so we could add another background in whilst editing. It was easy to set up and take down and it fitted perfectly at the back of the classroom.
Tri-Pod - Used to hold up the camera whilst we were filming. It also allowed us to tilt and pan the camera when necessary.
Re-shooting?
The only re-shooting that our group did for our music video was the dancing scenes as we didn't think that it looked as professional the first as we filmed it in the school drama hall and the floor was all scuffed. We decided to reshoot it in the media classroom on the green screen so it looked neater, although we had to make sure that the dance didn't come off of the green screen as it would be out of the shot as the green screen was quite small compared to the dance.
